Sensor Notes
Data from this station is courtesy of the National Weather Service (NWS). This is a NOAA sensor. This sensor is about 16 miles from shore on the Farallon Island. It is useful in the spring and early summer in giving a hint of winds to come later in the day in the Peninsula and Waddel. In the summer there can often be wind at the buoy but dead or light all day on the beach
