Dunedin Causeway Overview
Dunedin Causeway provides protected flat bay sailing as well as bump and jump and wave sailing. Restricted launch area on the south side of the causeway. When the wind is out of the North it is best not to ride here as powerlines run the entire length of the causeway at the waters edge making the northside of the causeway very dangerous. When from the South, you can sail to the mouth of the pass which can create some wave sailing. Avoid the swim areas marked by orange and white floating markers. Wind is usually generated by Cold Fronts in the winter and Hurricanes in the summer.
