Sensor Notes
Data from this station is courtesy of a personal weather station. Our anemometer and vane were mounted on a pre-existing 25 ft mast on top of the Sailing Centre. This puts our sensors about 40 ft above the water and approx. 100 ft from the edge of English Bay. Site receives very clean readings from SW all the way around to NE. Several large trees located behind the building may shelter readings slightly w/ a SE or ESE wind, which is also offshore. Favored wind direction is generally westerly.
