Wildcat Overview
Shallow water with kiters there most of the time, Great spot to do a bay crossing from there to North beach on a side off tack. Grass to setup and launch, plus all sandy bottom no mud. Steady winds almost all year around. A great spot to kite and you can self rescue by walking back in :-)

Maps & Directions
Take 181 from Corpus Christi to Portland. Get off at Wildcat Exit. Make a right on Wildcat, and follow the road. You will have to do a little jog to the left, and then back rigtht, in most cases you will see kites down at the end of the street. Once you take the first right turn you can see down where you will need to head. The park is at the end of the street.

Sensor Notes
Weather station is in most cases dead on whats blowing. The Winds during summer pick up and max out between 5:30 and 7pm and stays nice even after sun down at 9pm. Many are known to ride till way after dark.
