Kennedy Space Center real time mesonet Note: this NOAA sensor tends to radically underreport absolute wind strength. For example, Saturday 3/8/08 was a nukin' day with hand held gauges showing 30+ MPH westerlies, w/ gusts into the 40's - yet this sensor was reporting mainly 10-15 mph (you can check this out by clicking on "Archive" to the left). Make sure you interpret what you see from this sensor in light of what is being reported from the other sensors in the Canaveral zone. Also, check the data reported here: http://www.srh.noaa.gov/smg/Images/KSCMNET.GIF
