This is a large and gorgeous lake located in the town of Clermont, south of Hwy 50. It's great for windsurfing, but unfortunately it's private and has no public access. Windsurfers and kiters are better off going to Lake Mineoloa, which is about the same size and just a little north of this lake. Lake Mineola has a public beach on its south side where you can launch. It should be noted that kiting on Lake Mineola is for intermediate riders and above only. There is no where to get out if you can not stay upwind. If you can not stay upwind on a kite do not attempt to kite here. On both sides of the park are trees, power lines, and docks.
